Conference Sessions & Speakers

Charting the AI Journey: Navigating Transformative Horizons for Business & Beyond
Sarah Alt, Chief Process & AI Officer, Michael Best

Get ready to navigate the immediate future, where AI isn't just a tool - it's a transformative force for business. Harnessing AI's prowess means we can optimize operations, personalize customer experiences, and unlock hidden insights. Technology enthusiasts and business visionaries need a compass to navigate the AI-driven world that's unfolding before our eyes. In this two-part session, we'll explore what is happening right now with generative AI and what we can predict in the immediate future, including what may be coming for legislation and governance. In the second session, Sarah will facilitate a roundtable-style reflection to learn from each other what we do next to work alongside AI.

Cyber Resilience for Business Leaders
Mark Weatherford, Chief Strategy Officer, National Cybersecurity Center

Cyber resilience is fundamentally about an organization's ability to anticipate, adapt, withstand, and recover from malicious cyber events while continuing to operate and protect sensitive information. The cybersecurity threat and vulnerability landscape today has exploded and includes everything from data breaches and ransomware attacks, to supply chain vulnerabilities and threats to critical infrastructure – many of which are being conducted by well-resourced nation-state actors. That makes it an unfair fight for most private companies and whether a Fortune 500 or a smaller SMB, these threats can have far-reaching consequences, impacting not only the bottom line, but also customer trust and regulatory compliance. This session will help business leaders understand the cyber risk landscape and prepare you with the knowledge to ask the right questions while reinforcing the need for providing appropriate resources to defend your organization.

The Changing Landscape of the World of Work
Rebekah Kowalski, Vice President, Manpower Manufacturing at ManpowerGroup

Looking across the three big horizons of automation, digital, and sustainability gives us insight into the most significant shifts we’ve seen in recent times, influencing nearly every role and shaping the workforce of the future. This session will examine the challenge and opportunity presented with these shifts from both an employer and talent perspective and will look at how we can and must be thinking about the workforce needed to support them.
