Training in 2023 and Beyond: Trends, Best Practices and New Realities of the Workplace
Marnel Mola, Director of Corporate Training & Events, Employers Council

Jeff Samek, Manager of Learning and Development, Employers Council

Not since WWII and the industrial revolution has the workplace and its workers seen such change, so quickly. Today, in a post-COVID-19 world, learners have new, unique, distinct priorities when it comes to their development.  What are learners looking for in this new workplace model?  Training should be delivered in a variety of modalities and reflect the way
workers consume media, data, and information outside of
the workplace. This array includes remote, on-demand, highly engaging, professionally produced, digital content. In this session, we will explore some of the emergent technologies, attitudes and norms of the new workplace and discuss how learning professionals might leverage and celebrate these new opportunities in training and development.

Training in 2023 and Beyond: Workshop
Marnel Mola, Director of Corporate Training & Events, Employers Council
Jeff Samek, Manager of Learning and Development, Employers Council

In this immersive experience, participants will engage with current and relevant articles, resources, and data points to explore the current landscape of the post-COVID workplace and world of learning and development. These materials will highlight various perspectives and interdisciplinary voices across sectors of business and leadership that will help drive and facilitate your decisions related to moving your training and development programs forward. Through creative discussion, white-boarding, and idea generation leaders in this workshop will walk away with new ideas that will be implementable.
